The PRESENCE Study will be testing how an investigational medication, taken orally, works to improve memory and thinking in people with dementia associated with Parkinson’s disease or Dementia with Lewy Bodies (DLB).
Changes in memory and thinking associated with Parkinson’s disease or Dementia with Lewy Bodies can severely diminish one’s quality of life. There is a strong need to find a more effective way to treat the condition and that’s where clinical research studies, like the PRESENCE Study, come in.
The study will take place over about 14 weeks and participants will be randomly assigned one of three different dosages of the study drug OR placebo. The primary objective is to measure improvement in thinking and memory through the process.
